INCONEL® Alloy 22
INCONEL Alloy 22 has excellent resistance to oxidation and reduction in both acidic and acidic mixtures environment. It has pitting and crevice corrosion resistance in the environment of acid halides.
Applications:
chemical treatment processes, pollution control, flue gas desulfurization, waste incineration plants and paper processing plants.
g/cm3 | 8.61 |
lb/in3 | 0.311 |
INCONEL® Alloy C-276
The alloy with excellent corrosion resistance in many severe environments. The high molybdenum content makes the alloy particularly resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion. The low carbon content reduces the carbide precipitation during welding to maintain corrosion resistance in welded structures.
Applications:
pollution control, chemical treatment, production of pulp and paper, waste treatment.
g/cm3 | 8.89 |
lb/in3 | 0.321 |
INCONEL® Alloy 600
The alloy with good resistance to oxidation at high temperatures and good resistance to stress corrosion cracking in the environment of chloride ions and corrosion in the caustic environment.
Applications:
parts of industrial furnaces, chemical and food industry, components of nuclear power plants, spark electrodes.
g/cm3 | 8.47 |
lb/in3 | 0.306 |
INCONEL® Alloy 601
The alloy has excellent resistance to oxidation and other forms of corrosion occurring at high temperatures. It also has good mechanical properties at elevated temperatures.
Applications:
industrial furnaces, equipment for heat treatment such as: baskets, mufflers, grills, technological lines in the petrochemical industry, parts of gas turbines.
g/cm3 | 8.11 |
lb/in3 | 0.293 |
INCONEL® Alloy 625
The alloy, by addition of niobium interacting with molybdenum, stiffens alloy substrate. It obtains thereby high strength without the need for curing by heat treatment. The alloy is resistant to a wide range of corrosive environments, in particular to pitting and crevice corrosion.
Applications:
chemical industry, shipbuilding and aviation, pollution control equipment, nuclear reactors.
g/cm3 | 8.44 |
lb/in3 | 0.305 |
INCONEL® Alloy 690
The alloy has high chromium content and excellent resistance to many corrosive water media and high temperatures. High chromium content makes this alloy characterized by excellent corrosion resistance in aqueous solutions (especially in nitric acid) and in salts, as well as resistance to sulfiding at high temperatures. This alloy has high strength, good metallurgical durability and favorable fabrication properties.
g/cm3 | 8.19 |
lb/in3 | 0.296 |
INCONEL® Alloy 693
The alloy offers resistance to high temperature corrosion mechanisms not previously available from a nickel-based alloy. It has the best resistance to metal dusting in chemical and petrochemical processing environments of any conventional alloy currently manufactured.
g/cm3 | 7.77 |
lb/in3 | 0.280 |
INCONEL® Alloy 718
Precipitation curable nickel-chromium base alloy that contains iron, niobium, molybdenum as well as in smaller amounts aluminum and titanium. It combines corrosion resistance and high strength with excellent weldability, including fracture resistance after welding. It also has excellent creep strength at temperatures up to 700 ° C (1300 ° F).
Applications:
gas turbines, rocket engines, space ferries, nuclear reactors, pumps, tooling equipment.
g/cm3 | 8.19 |
lb/in3 | 0.296 |
INCONEL® Alloy HX
INCONEL® Alloy HX is a nickel-chromium- iron-molybdenum alloy with outstanding oxidation resistance and strength at up to 1200°C (2200°F). Stiffening of the alloy substrate obtained by the addition of molybdenum results in high alloy strength, solid state, having good production characteristics.
Applicationa:
gas turbines, industrial furnaces, heat treatment equipment, nuclear technology.
